Jo has always led a healthy and active lifestyle and started her fitness career as a health consultant working in an exclusive women's only fitness centre. After discovering she had a passion and flair for encouraging people to achieve their health goals, she decided to further her education and became a qualified AIF Personal Trainer in 2003 through the Australian Institute Of Fitness..
Working with women with diverse health needs and goals allowed her to expand her experience and skills and tailor effective and challenging workouts designed specifically for women's bodies and women's needs.
Always seeking new challenges, Jo explored the corporate world and began to provide one on one training programs to a variety of professionals including sport specific, core training, outdoor boot camps and injury prevention programs. Realising a definite talent in helping people achieve fitness goals and providing effective nutritional advice, she decided to expand her qualifications and studied pre and post natal exercise prescription. Baby boot camp style classes intrigued Jo and she soon turned her focus to this unexplored area. There was a need for a baby friendly exercise program on the Gold Coast that focused on the on the post natal needs of new mums, so after becoming pregnant herself in 2005 she decided that was where she wanted to focus her energy and talent.
Fit Mums N Bubs was founded by Jo after her eyes were opened to the challenges of motherhood when her son Reid was born in May 2006. She realised that it wasn’t as easy to just throw on the joggers and head out the door anymore and she began to crave some adult company and conversation. Jo wanted to join a mother group but decided to start her own with a difference – through Fit Mums N Bubs opening in Spring 2006.
Her enthusiasm for life and natural supportive nature makes Jo a well sought after mummy motivator. She has the perfect combination of energy, extensive women’s expertise, and encouragement to give her clients invigorating, fun and rewarding workouts.

Kristina became a Personal Trainer after struggling through her teenage years with a back injury and increasing weight issues. After having her first child she decided to take action and lost an amazing 30kgs! It was at this point she decided to study Personal Training, and attained her Certificate IV in Fitness through the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2007.
Kristina worked for 2 ½ years at Fitness First in Knox, where she gained experience training all types of people with all types of goals. She specialized in Pre & Post Natal training, and trained many women through their pregnancies and early motherhood in a healthy and safe way.
The birth of Kristina’s daughter saw her decide to focus on her own business, and after leaving Fitness First she started up successful ‘No yelling guarantee’ Bootcamps, as well as continuing with some of her one on one clients. Kristina continues to train people through group exercise, one on one training, and of course, Fit Mums ‘N’ Bubs, which gives her the opportunity to train other mums while still spending time with her two pre-school aged children.
